Martin Polanco

The story of this renowned creator began in his native Dominican Republic, when at the age of 12 he began to sell second-hand clothes in mechanical workshops, warehouses and factories. He had been left without a father and his family was very humble.
Everything was going well until the Dominican Republic suspended the importation of used clothing. So, Polanco, very skillfully, undid the garments that still remained and, with the patterns, made other pieces that he sold as foreigners. The business was a success, and several of the main artists of the island began to buy their creations.
However, Polanco felt the need to take his company further and began to study, first dressmaking, then rhinestones and fabric painting, and then fashion design. By then he had already separated from his brother and was embarking on his own company alone.
His fame transcended the borders of his country and reached New York, the mecca of the fashion world. There he has presented several of his collections and is currently working in his country on professional development projects in the world of fashion.
To date, it has seen figures such as Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Los Hermanos Rosario, Wilfrido Vargas, Fernando Villalona, and others.
